How hiring works, step by step.
The same six steps for every role, so you always know where you stand.

Apply
About 5 minutes. Tell us who you are, what you have made or done, and why this role. Attach a CV or share a link to your work.

We review
We read every application and reply within 5 working days, whether the answer is yes or not yet.

Short task
A realistic task of about 2 hours that you do at home. It is based on a made-up problem, never our live client work.

Conversation
A relaxed 30 minute chat with someone from the team, in person or on video. We talk about your task and how you think.

Offer
A clear written offer: duration, hours, what you will learn and, where applicable, the stipend.

First 30 days
A named person to ask, clear goals for week one, and a weekly check-in so you always know how you are doing.

Curiosity over credentials
You do not need a perfect CV. We care that you ask good questions and learn fast.
Real work over big claims
One small thing you actually made beats a long list of skills. Show us a link.
Respect for people's time
Reliable, honest and clear. If you are stuck or running late, you tell us early.
Our promises to applicants.
- We reply to every application within 5 working days.
- We never charge a fee at any stage. If anyone asks you for money in our name, tell us at info@14technologies.com.
- Tasks take about 2 hours and use made-up problems, never our live client work.
- Each role page tells you plainly whether it is paid, and what you will learn.
- We delete applications after 12 months unless you ask us to keep yours in our talent pool.
Common questions.
Do I need experience?
No. For internships we look at curiosity, effort and one real thing you have made or done. Show us a link or tell us the story.
Is it paid?
It depends on the role, and each role page says so clearly. We do not hide it.
Can I do it remotely or around my classes?
Each role page lists the location, work mode and hours. Many are flexible around classes. Say what you can manage in the form.
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes. Send a separate application for each, and tell us in the message which one you would pick first.
What happens to my CV and details?
They are stored privately and seen only by the people hiring. We delete them after 12 months unless you are in our talent pool. See our Privacy Policy.
I am under 18. Can I apply?
Not at the moment. Please come back when you are 18 or older, and keep building things in the meantime.
